Default Nigerian Scammers- How to cancel shipping?

I was selling a phone worth £280 on ebay and have just found out that I have been scammed by someone from Nigeria and will not be receiving any money for the phone. Unfortunately I found out too late, I already sent the phone off yesterday, and was wondering how I would go about cancelling the shipping, I am unable to cancel it today because it's Sunday, but would it be too late to cancel it on Monday?I know this is in the wrong section but I just think I will receive more answers in this section as I am so desperate to know, I feel stupid for sending it off and really want to be given some kind of reassurance.P.S Be careful on ebay, these Nigerian Scammers are actually really clever the way they go about scamming people, they send ALMOST believable emails from 'Paypal' (not really paypal, they make it out as though they are)Thanks

Honestly I have no idea. But you could take it up with ebay or Paypal and see if they're any help. Do research and find out where the processing center of the shipping company is and talk to a manager is an explain your situation. I think you might be out alot of money.

I've been intrigued by this message, and other offline reports from acquaintainces who have sent off stuff without receiving the money first.
Why? Why would you give something to someone without checking the funds are received first?
Yes, their fake paypal emails may look good.
Call me old fashioned, but I recommend always logging in to your paypal separately to check the funds are there, and only then send off the item. It's a few extra steps but lots of peace of mind.

Sorry, but a bit short on sympathy at the mo, while I struggle with a virus from a similar fake "paypal" email - but luckily lost no money.
